History

Building on our established base as a commercial sink and hospital equipment supplier, Pland has grown to become a leading player in the manufacture and supply of stainless steel washroom and sanitaryware products.

Pland was established as Taylor Rustless Fittings in 1919 and its various names have included The Stainless Steel Sink Company and TRF Pland. Real growth in recent years means our product range has more than quadrupled since the company achieved independence in 2000.

In 2001 Pland acquired the specialist sanitaryware and designer bathroom manufacturers Associated Metal, a company which combined 90 years of traditional skills with the latest sheet metal work technology.

A year later the high quality sanitaryware and washroom equipment manufacturers Santric joined the group. Santric's ethos of delivering what the customer wants matched that of Pland and much of Santric's Leeds factory's output is customised to meet user needs. It was in the same year, 2002, that Pland was appointed sole distributor for Haws drinking fountains and safety equipment throughout the UK.

Following this Pland has forged important working partnerships with The Purus Group and leading European tap manufacturers.
